As you may have already read, we screen the most popular and successful films at our Garden Cinema, based on your preferences, of course.

There are plenty of wonderful films waiting for you at the foot of the Mátra, under the starry sky.

Important information:

  • The gates open for every screening at 19:00.
  • The screenings start at 21:00 and are free, so it is NOT possible to reserve seats in advance!
  • There is no advance seating, so if you want a good sport, please arrive on time!
  • The films are shown in Hungarian dubbing without subtitles, but certain films are screened in their original language with Hungarian subtitles, and we will inform interested parties about these specific screenings separately!
  • The Garden Cinema is located in the courtyard of Varázsvölgy, in an outdoor setting, so please dress in layers and bring sweater.
  • For the ultimate movie experience, you can rent bean bags and pillows. The rental fee of bean bags is 1000 HUF per occasion and the rental fee of pillows is 500 HUF per occasion.
  • At Varázsvölgy shop you can purchase soft drinks, beer and wine spritzers, fresh popcorn, and pre packaged nachos.
  • In case of rainy, stormy, or windy weather, the screening will be canceled.
  • We reserve the right to make changes!

House rules

Before you visit the screening, please read the house rules of our cinema so everyone is aware of the rules of the game!

These house rules apply to visitors of the Pásztó Varázsvölgy Garden Cinema event series (in the following referred to as Event or Garden Cinema).

  1.  The visitor of the Garden Cinema (hereinafter referred as “Visitor”) is obligated to comply with the provisions set forth in the following House Rules during their stay within the premise of Kert Mozi By entering the premises of Kert Mozi, the Visitor accepts and acknowledges the binding nature of the provisions stated by these House Rules.
  2.  The House Rules will be displayed n-site and can also be found on the Varázsvölgy (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”) operated Varázsvölgy website (www.vvolgy.hu).
  3.  The Organizer does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of programs not published on Organizer’s media platforms, or for any inconvenience or damage caused by potentially incorrect, inaccurate, or misleading information not directly originating from the Organizer.
  4.  The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program.
  5.  As the event takes place in an outdoor venue, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel it in case of bad weather. The Visitor will always be notified of this fact through promotional channels (website, Facebook, and Instagram pages).
  6.  The Organizer is not liable for any damages resulting from the cancellation of the event.
  7.  Individuals under the age of 18 are not served alcoholic beverages within the event area.
  8.  Except for performances specifically designated for children under 3 years of age, children under 3 years of age are not allowed to attend the event, even under parental supervision. The age restrictions for films are mandatory. Therefore, the Organizer is entitled to verify the age upon entry, and those who do not meet the age requirements will not be allowed to attend the event.
  9.  Attendees or guests who display inappropriate behavior (such as loudness, aggressive behavior), or engage in any other disruptive activities (disorderly, dirty, or incomplete attire, intoxicated or otherwise impaired state, loudness, vandalism, begging, etc.) may be asked by the event staff to leave the premises immediately.
  10.  Individuals who are intoxicated or have an unkempt appearance are strictly prohibited from entering the premises of Kert Mozi and Varázsvölgy.
  11.  The Organizer is not obliged to provide seating at the event, but depending on the event location, lightweight seating items brought by guests (blankets, cushions) may be allowed.
  12.  Engaging in any commercial, trade (merchandising, etc.), or promotional activities (distribution or placement of products, leaflets) without permission on the event premises is strictly prohibited.
  13.  Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area within the premises of Kert Mozi, including the use of electronic cigarettes.
  14.  Bringing bicycles, other non-motorized and motorized vehicles onto the event premises, or storing them, is only permitted in the designated area. In the absence of such an area, vehicles are not allowed.
  15.  Escape routes must be kept clear at all times!
  16.  The use of cameras or any other image or sound recording devices is prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to record, in any form (even partially), the films shown during the performances.
  17.  Visitors who violate Hungarian copyright laws at the event will be removed from the premises by the event staff, and the Organizer will file a police report against them.
  18.  Recording or filming of any kind, whether image or sound, is only allowed with permission throughout the entire event area.
  19.  Dogs are allowed at Kert Mozi. The person bringing the dog is fully responsible for any damages caused by the dog, whether to the Organizer or to other individuals. Furthermore, the owner of the dog is fully liable for any injuries caused by the animal.
  20.  Dogs can only be brought into the event area if they are house-trained, wearing a mandatory muzzle (or any other physical device that prevents biting), and kept on a leash (or any other restraining device).
  21.  Dogs must remain on the ground and are strictly prohibited from being seated on chairs.
  22.  It is forbidden to bring in and use any items on the premises of the Kert Mozi (Garden Cinema) that, in the judgment of the Event staff, may violate or endanger public safety, or cause fear or alarm among other visitors, or disrupt the entertainment of other visitors for any reason.
  23.  The Organizer does not take responsibility for valuables brought into or lost or abandoned on the premises of Varázsvölgy (Magic Valley).
  24.  In matters not regulated by the House Rules and other published regulations and conditions of the Organizer, the provisions of applicable Hungarian laws shall apply.
  25.  Written comments can be submitted to info@vvolgy.hu.
  26.  The headquarters of the Organizer is located at Kölcsey Street 35, 3060 Pásztó, which is also the place for handling complaints.
  27.  Complaints can be made verbally or in writing to the contact details of the customer service. The Organizer shall examine the verbal complaint immediately and, if necessary, remedy the situation. If the visitor disagrees with the handling of the complaint or an immediate investigation is not possible, the Organizer shall promptly prepare a protocol on the complaint and its position, and provide a copy to the visitor in the case of a verbal complaint made in person, or send it to the visitor, along with a substantive response, within 30 days from the date of filing the complaint in the case of a verbal complaint made via telephone or other electronic communication service.
  28.  In the case of a written complaint, the Organizer shall respond in writing within 30 days after its receipt.
  29.  In the event of visitor disputes, the visitor may turn to the conciliation body competent according to their place of residence or stay. The headquarters, telephone and internet contact details, and mailing address of the conciliation bodies are available on the following website: bekeltetes.hu. This right of visitors does not affect their right to take the matter to court in case of a legal dispute.
